[06.24.11] Girls' Generation Set to Perform 2 Songs at MTV Video Music Aid Japan

Girls' Generation is set to perform a special performance of two songs including their hit track "MR. TAXI" for the MTV Video Music Aid Japan (VMAJ). The girls will be present along with pop star icon Lady Gaga and top groups like AKB48. Label mate SHINee will also be there to perform as well.

The 9-members girl group has been nominated for Best Group Video, Best Video of the Year, and Best Karaokee! Song for their debut Japanese single, Genie. Many are eagerly anticipating to see if the girls will emerge as winners at the one of the most prestigious music awards show.

MTV VMAJ will take place tomorrow on June 25th at Makuhari Messe at the Chiba Prefecture in Japan. The event will broadcast at 6PM KST and will be shown live in countries like China, Singapore, Malaysia as well as other parts of Asia.
