[05.20.11] Girls' Generation Set to Attend Music Bank's 'K-Pop Festival' in Tokyo

It has officially been announced that Girls' Generation will be one of the many Korean artists who will participate in the KBS Music Bank's "K-Pop Festival". It will be held on July 13th at the Tokyo Dome which is located in Tokyo, Japan. Tickets for the event will go on sale at the beginning of June.

Date/Venue: Wednesday, July 13 at the Tokyo Dome
Admission time/Start time: 17:30 (5:30pm) / 19:00 (7:00pm) (scheduled)
Ticket prices: S-level seats 12,800 yen, A-level seats 11,800 yen

Girls' Generation will be joined by groups like DBSK, Kara and 4Minute as well as singers like IU. This star-studded event is one of the many indications that the Korean wave (Hallyu) is still going strong. This festival also marks Music Bank's first live broadcast from Japan.

Tokyo Dome is the largest concert hall in Japan and holds a capacity of more than 40,000 seats. It has played host to legendary artists like Mariah Carey and Michael Jackson, so this gathering of K-Pop artists is also sure to leave a lasting impression.
