[05.14.11] Girls' Generation Perform for Pyeongchang Winter Olympics Concert

After Girls' Generation's first live performance of "MR. TAXI" on Music Station yesterday night, the girls returned to Korea today to perform their hit songs "Hoot" and "Gee". Today's event was to celebrate the Winter Olympics later in 2018 and Pyeongchang was one of the candidates as host alongside Annecy, France, and Munich, Germany. Various artists came to support and celebrate the event.

The event started from 7 p.m. till 9 p.m. on the 14th, but fans gathered earlier in high anticipation. This is most likely due to the appearances of several icons, such as professional StarCraft player Jung Myunghoon, singer Insooni, boy band CN Blue, and popular idol group Girls' Generation. The Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra also participated in this event.

Fans were delighted to see the 9 girls perform once again in such a big event. Lots of fans waved their pink light sticks and the orchestra along with the choir at the back waved around to show support. Despite having to fly back to Korea in such a short period of time, Girls' Generation didn't show any signs of being tired and gave an amazing performance!
