"The Boys" Reaches 84,000 Sales on the Hanteo Chart

Girls’ Generation’s third studio album, “The Boys”, has been flying off the shelves. In the first two weeks since its release, the album has soared past the 75,000 units sold mark on the Hanteo chart. As of the time of this article, “The Boys” has over 84,000 albums sold on the chart. Along with the Gaon chart, Hanteo is one of the main music charts in Korea that tracks album sales. The title track from the album continues to be a huge hit on Youtube as well. The Korean version of “The Boys” just recently passed 15 million views, proving itself to be one of the most popular music videos. International fans are starting to receive their albums from Korea.
