Girls' Generation Wins on MCountdown

On October 27th, Girls’ Generation made their first appearance on Mnet’s MCountdown in three years. The girls were up against Secret and Kim Hyun Joong for the top spot, and recorded their first win with “The Boys”! Sooyoung also came out as MC this week. Many people were impressed and entertained by her style and cute actions as MC for the music show. Once the results were shown that Girls’ Generation won, “SNSD WON” instantly became a worldwide trending topic on Twitter. Everyone has been anticipating the first win, and it will surely be one of many more to come. Check out the epic performance of “The Boys” below.
