However, now that everything is back on track again, please sit back and give the May 2012 podcast a listen. Michelle, is back for the second time in May to present Soshified's fifth podcast. First of all, I'd like to thank everyone who has been continuously supporting the Writers' Podcast, it really means a lot to us! And, to all the new listeners, thank you for taking the time to visit this page, and on behalf of all the writers, we hope that you'll enjoy listening to them as much as we enjoy recording them! Also, this month's podcast will be featuring the cheerful voice of Soshfied's forum founder, Soy. When the Writers' team was first founded, Soy and a few other members helped around left and right to ensure SONEs were constantly kept updated with everything related to Girls' Generation. Slowly, with the help of many hardworking people, the Writers' team slowly grew and developed into the solid team it is today. In the May edition of the Writers' Podcast, we will be covering everything up to date concerning the new subunit, Girls’ Generation – TTS and their brand new mini album, "Twinkle". From their songs to their music video and various promotions, listen as we discuss the "Twinkle" concept as a whole as well as our opinions regarding Girls' Generation's first time promoting in numbers less than nine. Then, don't tune us out as we move on to our monthly drama discussions. Listen carefully as Seraph makes a very clever analysis regarding the symbolic importance of snow in Yoona's drama "Love Rain". Wait, wasn't the symbol of this drama supposed to be rain? Guess you'll just have to listen to find out! This month, we'll also be continuing with our regular debate segment. In the May Podcast, Soy and Dave will be featured as they discuss whether or not they prefer seeing Girls' Generation promoting as nine. Should the girls be encouraged to pursue more solo or subunit activities, or should it always remain "nine or nothing"? Play our podcast all the way until the end to find out! That wraps up our May 2012 edition of the Writers' Podcast. The Best of the Best: Top 5 Variety Show Appearances

Welcome back to another edition of Soshified's "The Best of the Best", a monthly look into the very best examples from categories of just about anything to do with Girls' Generation. As decided by your votes last month, I rewatched as many of Girls' Generation's appearances on variety shows as I could, from Park Kyunglim's "Wonderful Outing" in 2007 to KBS's "Dream Team" in 2011, and listed my five favorite appearances in which members of Girls' Generation were seen as featured guests. Thus, no series in which a member or members were featured as regulars, such as "Girls Go To School" or "Invincible Youth Season 2", were chosen, but keep an eye out in the future for a "The Best of the Best" with Girls' Generation's greatest variety series. For now, check out my top five variety show appearances and be sure to let me know what would have been in your own top five! As always, I've included videos with my picks for you to watch, to make you laugh, and to help you decide whether or not you agree, as well as a poll for you to decide what category next month's "The Best of the Best" will feature. Be sure to vote, and I'll see you next month! 5. Strong Heart Episode 95 While most of the shows on this list were chosen for making me laugh, episode 95 of "Strong Heart" starts off my list of favorite variety appearances for a different reason. Sunny, Hyoyeon, and Seohyun's segment on the show opened with the usual comedic antics from MCs Kang Hodong and Lee Seunggi, who tricked actor Lee Dongwook, speaking to the cast over the phone, that all nine members of Girls' Generation were present. When asked to choose one member to speak with, he picked Taeyeon and admitted he was a fan of her solo songs, though he would later go on to star in "Wild Romance" with Jessica. Afterwards, the show moved on to what made this episode truly special when Seohyun was given the chance to tell the story of when she met UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon. Despite being known for her quiet nature when outside of the dorm, Seohyun talked for more than eight minutes and recounted her nervousness during the days leading up to and during her meeting with her life mentor. The prim, proper, and perfect maknae, who rarely gets excited, spoke faster and faster as her story went on, saying, "I just felt so happy to be in the same room with him and breathe the same air," and, "Now that I've seen my life mentor once, I can die happy." Seohyun's genuine joy while telling about her once-in-a-lifetime experience was a refreshing change for a show where stories usually revolve around relationships or embarrassing stories, and made this episode of "Strong Heart" my favorite ever with Girls' Generation and fifth on my list of all variety show appearances. Strong Heart Episode 95 4. Happy Together Episode 172 Episode 172 of "Happy Together" is one of the best examples of why the members of Girls' Generation are at their comedy best when allowed to show off their quick wits while telling stories and secrets. Though only Taeyeon, Sunny, Yuri, Sooyoung, and Seohyun were present, none of the remaining members of Girls' Generation were spared from having their habits revealed. The members first started by showing their ventriloquism skills, which they admitted to using in front of cameras and especially in Japan, and then explained the slight changes to their performances when especially excited. Yuri proved that unlike the other members, she's unable to talk without moving her lips, while it was revealed that perfect Seohyun, no matter how excited she is, performs Girls' Generation's choreographies the exact same way each and every time. The spilling of secrets continued in the next part of the show, the "Image Talk" corner, where the five girls each chose one member who she felt most fit a category. This led to Sooyoung's imitation of Sunny's way of walking when around men, which was adorable and never fails to make me laugh, as well as Seohyun's recalling of Sooyoung trash-talking her early in the morning, which was absolutely side-splitting. Finally, you don't have to understand Korean in order to find Seohyun's robot-like speech in the show's closing segments both cute and hilarious. The corner called for using informal speech and speaking in a certain accent or dialect, which Seohyun tried to avoid by using an archaic way of speaking. This eventually caused Park Myungsoo to ask her "What are you?", a question we would all love to ask her ourselves. Girls' Generation's appearance on "Happy Together" is an hour of laughs from stories, secrets, and games, and wins the fourth spot on my list. Happy Together Episode 172 Part 1 3. Happy Shares Company Episodes 193 and 194 One of Girls' Generation's very first variety shows was also one of the very best and is third on list of my favorite variety appearances. "Happy Shares Company" was a popular show which, for one week, would pit a male celebrity against a female celebrity to see who could spend the least amount of money on food and other expenses from the 10,000 won they are given at the start of the week. Episodes 193 and 194 featured Yoona, one of Girls' Generation's biggest eaters, against Big Bang's Seungri. However, all of the members from the two groups could be seen throughout both episodes, giving Girls' Generation and Big Bang the chance to show off their hilarious senses of humor and variety talents. From the very beginning, the show proved it would be full of laughs as the other members of Girls' Generation pretended to root for Seungri instead of Yoona, and Yoona showed off a "dorky dance" for a discounted pork cutlet. Other Girls' Generation highlights from the episodes included Yuri pretending to be Yoona and confusing the show's cameraman, the members dancing to Lee Seungchul's "Girls' Generation" before having released their own remake of the song, Taeyeon and Yoona's infiltration of MBC's headquarters, Sunny, Yuri, and Yoona's reenactment of Harry Potter, and Yoona's designation of Taeyeon as her replacement for "Help Day", followed by the other members' celebration at having avoided being selected. Observant fans will also notice that the members of Girls' Generation purchase bottles of Vita500 in the second episode, a vitamin drink they later endorsed in 2011. "Happy Shares Company" is guaranteed to make you laugh, and though it aired more than four years ago, it is still one of the very best variety appearances by Girls' Generation. Happy Shares Company Episode 193 Part 1 Happy Shares Company Episode 194 Part 1 2. Running Man Episode 63 and 64 Episodes 63 and 64 of "Running Man" saw six members of Girls' Generation pair up with six members of the "Running Man" cast for two episodes of nonstop-laughs. Led by Yoo Jae Suk, the "Running Man" team is made up of variety veterans, musicians, and actors: a varied group which perfectly complements the many different personalities in Girls' Generation. The first episode featured three teams each made up of two couples that raced around the city playing games and completing missions. However, the best parts of "Running Man" always came during the race rather than at the end, and throughout the entire episode, Girls' Generation showed why they are among the best idol groups in variety, with the ability to make anyone laugh. Some of my favorite parts included Jessica and Hyoyeon battling over Gary, who must have saved a country in his previous life, Seohyun and Kim Jongkook singing "Girls' Generation", and shameless Yuri and Yoona dancing to DJ Doc's "Run to You". Most surprisingly, Jessica, whose motto is to "never run, even when you're late", stole the show in the first episode and in the first half of the second. During the first episode, she was whiny, pouty, and annoyed Gary to no end with her nonstop aegyo and appeals to the PDs. Jessica's antics continued in the second episode when Girls' Generation was pitted against the "Running Man" cast in a cooking competition. The two teams each traded a single member, with Girls' Generation choosing to take HaHa from the men's team while the "Running Man" team picked Jessica, despite her notoriously poor cooking skills. She eventually demonstrated her inability to cook while shopping in a supermarket, where she asked both Gary and a cameraman for the ingredients she would need for her supposed specialty, kimchi fried rice. Finally, her reaction after being told that her team had half an hour to cook the entire meal always makes me laugh. The two-episode special ended with a hilarious wake-up session and a thrilling elimination game, in which Seohyun transformed into a terminator intent on eliminating her unnies one-by-one. Overall, the humorous moments are endless throughout these two episodes of "Running Man", and in one of the best variety shows today, Girls' Generation made their second best variety appearance ever. Running Man Episode 63 Part 1   Running Man Episode 64 Part 1 1. Intimate Note Episode 40 There is no better example of a show which displays Girls' Generation's ability to entertain than episode forty of "Intimate Note". This one-hour episode was filled with yelling, arguments, rebuttals, and more yelling as the members aired secret after secret and voiced complaint after complaint. Though they were first split into two teams based on height, the battle quickly turned into a free-for-all with the teammates turning on each other and constantly switching sides. During the lightning-fast arguments, nothing was off limits as the girls revealed each others’ sleeping habits, Sooyoung's meals with a manager, Jessica's style of walking, Sunny's aegyo, Taeyeon's secrecy, and much more. Finally, the very best part of the show came as Seohyun displayed her unflappable nature and coolly responded to all of her unnies' complaints with a bright smile and a clear explanation. Her calm attitude contrasted with the chaos during the rest of the episode, but still makes me laugh even after having watched it dozens of times. Overflowing with secrets, grievances, laughter, and betrayal, Girls' Generation's episode of "Intimate Note" wins the top spot on my list of Girls' Generation's very best variety show appearances. Girls' Generation – TTS Wins First Place on 'Music Bank'

On May 25th, Girls’ Generation – TTS emerged victorious with a third win on KBS’s “Music Bank”. The girls achieved the same feat earlier this week on MBC’s “Show Champion” and Mnet’s “M! Countdown”. For this performance, the girls wore blue-themed outfits taken from their “Twinkle” music video and offered a glamorous presentation for the loud and supportive audience. Girls’ Generation – TTS continue to show improvements, showcasing their vocals as well as exhibiting a strong stage presence. As always, after receiving the trophy for first place, the girls humbly thanked SONEs for their endless support throughout the girls’ undergoing promotions. Girls’ Generation – TTS left a message on the Official Girls’ Generation website after their Music Bank win. “Twinkle~ Three consecutive weeks on first place!! Thank you very very much~! Girls' Generation – TTS Wins a Triple Crown on 'M! Countdown'

On May 24th, Girls’ Generation – TTS secured first place for the third time on Mnet’s “M! Countdown” with “Twinkle”, thus clinching a triple crown for themselves. This marks the second triple crown obtained by the girls after grabbing their first on MBC’s “Show Champion”. Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Seohyun executed an energetic performance by cheerfully showing off their choreography and exceptional vocals. Upon the announcement of Girls’ Generation – TTS’s triple crown victory, fans could not hide their excitement and celebrated the win by creating a trending topic on Twitter. ”Congrats TTS” trended at 9th place worldwide when the winner was announced. After their win, Girls’ Generation – TTS left a photo accompanied by a short message on the Official Girls’ Generation website. “We’re always thankful~ You all know that, right?” Since the group has obtained a triple crown on the show, this is the last time that Girls’ Generation – TTS will receive an award for “Twinkle” on “M! Countdown”. However, the girls are still in running for first place on KBS’s “Music Bank” on the 25th of May, as well as SBS’s “Inkigayo” on the 27th of May, so remember to stay tuned to Soshified for the latest news. Girls' Generation Performs at 'SMTOWN Live World Tour III' in Anaheim

Girls’ Generation performing “Gee”.  This past May 20th, 2012, Girls’ Generation joined their fellow SM Entertainment artists at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California for “SMTOWN Live World Tour III”. The concert itself was branded as part of MBC’s “Korean Music Wave LA” series, which led to the following day’s “Korean Music Wave in Google”. For Anaheim’s “SMTOWN Live World Tour III” Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Leeteuk from Super Junior served as MCs, while Taeyeon and Tiffany emceed “Korean Music Wave in Google”. “SMTOWN Live World Tour III” featured Girls’ Generation alongside Super Junior, SHINee, f(x), BoA, TVXQ, EXO-K, and EXO-M. Unfortunately, both Yuri and Yoona were unable to attend both concerts because of filming responsibilities for their respective dramas. Before the concert, the girls arrived in California in two separate groups. Jessica, Sunny, and Sooyoung arrived first on Friday, May 18th, followed by Taeyeon, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, and Seohyun on Saturday, May 19th. Large groups of fans greeted the girls at Los Angeles International Airport on both days. Soshified members who were at the airport proudly held up a Soshified banner to display their support for the girls. The Soshified banner also made an appearance on concert day when Soshified staff members and volunteers handed out the foam heart, t-shirt, and lightstick bundles.   Seohyun arriving at Los Angeles International Airport.  Soshified banner outside of the Honda Center.  MCs Taeyeon and Tiffany.  Soshified also had the privilege of attending the pre-concert press conference. Jessica and Sooyoung represented Girls’ Generation at the press conference, and when asked about the support they’ve received during their American promotions, Sooyoung answered in English that they were very happy to perform in America. Also, Jessica was asked about any plans for a Girls’ Generation solo concert tour in America and about her recent appearance on ESPN. Jessica said the girls were focused on the SMTOWN concert and they weren’t thinking about any sort of solo tour just yet, that she had fun throwing out the first pitch at a baseball game, and that she hoped her fans were not disappointed. The press conference video can be seen below.     On concert day, Taeyeon started Girls’ Generation’s set off with a bang, as she took center stage alone to sing “Devil’s Cry”. Afterwards, she was joined by her fellow members to perform “Run Devil Run”. Once “Run Devil Run” was finished, the girls stopped to do a brief introduction and greet the crowd. Before the concert began, Soshified members walked through every floor section and handed out printed flyers which read “Happy Birthday 써니 and 윤아” to celebrate Sunny and Yoona’s birthdays, which are both in May. Everyone in attendance, SONEs and fans of the other SM groups alike, was very eager and happy to help, and once Girls’ Generation began their introduction, the birthday flyers were held up for girls to see. The flyers worked perfectly, as Sunny flashed a huge smile and thanked the crowd for the birthday message. Tiffany also brought up the fact that Yuri and Yoona were unable to attend, and said that the other members felt nervous because they weren’t performing with all nine members. She then asked the audience to cheer even louder in order to make up for Yuri and Yoona’s absence. After the girls completed their introduction, they performed the concert remix version of “Genie”, which featured Tiffany’s fierce rap break. The girls then ended their first appearance on stage with a performance of “Kissing You”, during which they all split up and walked around all the different areas of the stage in order to greet all of the fans.   Taeyeon performing “Devil’s Cry”.  Girls’ Generation doing their introduction.  Girls’ Generation performing “Genie”.  Later, Jessica continued the tradition from previous SMTOWN concerts as she performed a duet with her sister Krystal of f(x). In previous SMTOWN concerts, the Jung sisters performed “Tik Tok” by Ke$ha, but for this newest concert series they covered another hit pop song with Katy Perry’s “California Gurls”. The next Girls’ Generation performance was one that the crowd had been highly anticipating, as Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Seohyun took the stage to sing “Twinkle”. After several songs by Super Junior, TVXQ, and BoA, Girls’ Generation returned to the stage to energize the crowd with “Himnae!” and “Gee”. The girls performed both of those songs in the now familiar white T-shirt and jeans ensemble. The last time that the girls had the spotlight to themselves was for their performance of “The Boys”. They returned at the end to join their fellow SM artists in order to say goodbye to all the fans in attendance.   Jessica and f(x)’s Krystal singing Katy Perry’s “California Gurls”.  Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Seohyun performing “Twinkle”.  Jessica, Tiffany, and Seohyun having a playful moment during “Himnae!”  While SONEs were disappointed that Yuri and Yoona were unable to attend, there was still a strong feeling of excitement and pride. The girls continued to exhibit their strong presence in the United States, as the “GG” fanchants for “The Boys” roared throughout the Honda Center and again the following day at the Shoreline Ampitheatre. Fans were proud of Taeyeon and Tiffany for their roles as MCs for Anaheim’s “SMTOWN Live World Tour III” and “Korean Music Wave in Google”, as well as all of the girls for their strong performances. Ultimately, it was a wild and memorable weekend in California filled with emotions for Girls’ Generation and their fans. Soshified Spotlight May 2012 Part 1: desmondyoona

Yeah, I know I’m late. Not that any of you cared. Just like every other month, we’re once again highlighting a regular member in Part 1, and a Soshified staff member in Part 2. Anyway, we’re back with the May 2012 edition of Soshified Spotlight. This month, we’re featuring desmondyoona in Part 1 and cedge in Part 2. desmondyoona, or Desmond, is an administrator at a soccer gaming forum, and obviously a big Girls’ Generation fan. In fact, he loves the girls so much that he’s trying to form a SONE soccer team. He has been mentioned to look like Gary from Running Man, as well as act like him and have his sense of humor. He credits Girls’ Generation for getting him “out from the darkness”, and he claims to be the biggest Girls’ Generation fan among his army buddies. ***** What is your first name? Answer: Desmond New. I perhap have one of the most surname in the world which is ”New”. It been handed down generation after generation. But I have chosen an own korean name for myself: Park Taeyoung How did you come up with your Korean name? Answer: I came up with my korean name ”park TaeYoung” based on a few factor. one is that Park is a common surname among korean such as park Chuyong, park Ji Sung who play for favourite soccer club! Taeyoung was actually inspired by taeyang of Big Bang which is another band I also like But as I don’t it to be really taeyoung, I decided to just keep the Tae and add young in it as I always feel young at heart How did you find out about Soshified and why did you decide to join? Answer: Even through I been a fan of SNSD ever since they debuted, I only found out about the website through a Secondary friend of mine who happened to be a Sone too. As a forum admin in an online soccer gaming website, I naturally have interests in foruming and Once I stepped foot in any forum, You can expect me to keep foruming. Soshified have a wonderful community and have the quickest update of news here. It great gathering here with all the wonderful Sone who share the same interests as me. As a forumer, this is a Place I revel in and I must said that the admins are doing a good job in keeping the peace here! One specfic admin which I love chatting with is Kendelle who is in charge of Jessica sub forum. How did you come up with your screen name? Answer: Easy! My name is Desmond and since my bias is Yoona, I decided to choose desmondyoona as my on screen name Where are you originally from, and where do you currently reside (city and country for both)? Answer: I am from Singapore and currently in Singapore, Yishun. Yishun is a place where I have experience many great foods! It is my dream to live in South Korea one day forever supporting Pohang Steelers Fc or Fc Seoul. How did the dream of living in South Korea come about? Answer: Even before SNSD entered my life, I have always dream of living in South Korea. All this stemmed back to time of the 2002 Fifa World cup. It was only the year that I get into Soccer. South Korea was the underdog but they defied the odd to reach the semi-final and throughout their journey to the semi-final, I fall in love with them. I also feel that I was born as a Singaporean but korean by heart. Since young, I have love korean song, korean drama and korean food. One of the first korean drama I ever watched is ”Winter Sonata” which is also the producer of the show ”Love Rain” . And give me a choice over Macdonald, KFC or bimbap, I will definetly choose Bimbap. In fact, I am planning a trip after my army term end and go exploring in South Korea If we were visiting you where you live for one day, where would you take us? Why are these places so significant? Answer: There is many Place of Interests in Singapore. To me, MBS(Marina Bay Sand), there is casino there, beautiful girls and hunks there, great shopping centre. The Zoo. The night Safari which Happened to be the world first Night Safari and also the F1 pits. It is the place where the world first F1 night race took place! Tell us a little about your life. What do you do full time and in your free time? Answer: I am currently serving as a Soldier in the Singapore Army. I used to be in Singapore Armoured Infantry which is really very tough. But due to an injuries, I was posted to another Unit which is part of Singapore Artillery. In fact, It is a battalion that is steeped with history. One of the previous commanding officers of the Battalion is currently Singapore Prime Minister. As a clerk, I get to stay out, so when I come back home, I usually log in to the computer, facebook, SSF, and youtube. I love watching SNSD variety show and Running Man! I also serve as a forum admin, chat admin and writer on powerchallenge.com( An online multi-player soccer gaming website) till I take a break from admin work just a few week ago. During my weekend, I will usually go and play street soccer with my friends. What do you report on for your gaming website? Answer: As a multi-player soccer gaming website, we tend to write up on the latest soccer view, the reason behind some update. Answer: There are a few different view of SNSD currently at the website where I served at an admin. There are some who said they are over-rated but there are few which Personally admired SNSD. There are some users who like Kpop and have their favourite group. One fellow admins of my is a admirer of 4 Minutes, and there is one who like SNSD just like me. However, currently the influence of SNSD there is not so big yet but I am hoping to change that soon What's the most interesting thing about you and/or that has ever happened to you? As I did not have not have a good memory, I will just recalled some stuffs that I went for recently. I recently attended an outfield training course in the army teaching me how to do operation manning in the event an outbreak of war occur. I have a great and wonderful time trying out my hands at the different skill that it required. Once, during my school time, I was specially selected to go to the CID (Criminal Investigation Department) for a short lesson. It was quite an eventful lesson. I have also been to the police coast Guard and K9 Dog Unit too. For people who are first meeting you (like most of us), how would you describe yourself? Answer: They will see a quiet person. Perhap someone like Kwang Soo of Running Man except the shorter version But having said that, Don’t judge a book by its cover. I can actually be quite a clown and joker Peoples have said that my appearance and personality is totally like Kang Gary which I myself agree. Is there anything big in your life that you're working on? (This can be related to school, career, hobbies, family, friends, etc.) Answer: I am currently Working on a few project which I can’t reveal. I have a strong leadership qualities in me. Since Young, I have always been chosen to be a leader. Being the class chairperson, Chair game master, heading a Open House project, Vice captain of my street soccer team. My officers in the army give me a nickname of Major New. My former Sergeant and Platoon Mates in Armour Infantry give me a nickname of Sergeant Major. I have actually wrote quite a few reply to the newspaper and army magazine and it been featured before. I also have plan to be the National coach of Singapore Soccer team and South Korea Soccer team one day. What are your interests outside of Girls' Generation? Answer: Reading. I love to read crime thriller. I am also a soccer player who support Manchester United and Pohang Steeler for club and South Korea for country. I am also an avid player of the game ”Pro Evolution Soccer”. Why do you want to start a SONE soccer club? Answer: Different soccer club have different version. I want my soccer club to be a club that is respected by fair play. However as a SONE soccer club, I will most likely be recruiting SONE into it. If you ask me, I am someone who does not care about losing or winning as we long as we play fairly and with happiness. And I believe Sone fits into my vision. There are alot of SONE who are humble and that what I want to see in a team. Having a SONE soccer club will also be great as there is no soccer club I believe that is created based on their admiration of SNSD. In fact, after I have served finish my term in the Army, I am planning to go back to study Sport coaching. And together with my friends who are in the sport and leisure management course in Republic Poly(Singapore), I hope to set up a SONE soccer club one day How did you first become a fan of Girls' Generation? Answer: Through the ITNW MV and the reality show ”GGTS”. The dance and tune of the song is catchy and add on to that, I have to said that I feel their passion for the career they have chosen. GGTS show me how the girls always give in their very best for their fans. One example will be Jessica giving her all and fainting after her performance. Who is your favorite member and why? Answer: Yoona! It is love at first sight. She happened to be the first girl of SNSD whom I have set my eyes on. She is really very gorgerous and really talented. Peoples might said that she does not have the best vocal of the group but to me, I love her voice. Having said that, I also love the other eight members of the group What is your favorite Girls' Generation song and MV and why? Answer: Oh!, ITNW and The boys. For ” The boys and Oh”, it because of their chorography is excellent. I myself have a passion for dancing. For ITNW, it because it is throught that MV which I discovered SNSD What is your favorite Girls' Generation moment and why? Answer: The moment where they linked their hands together for the song ”complete”. To me that define what SNSD stand for. Teamwork and the soshibond. Another moments will be them thanking us and bowing down to us everytime after their performance. It show to me their humblness and how they have never let success get into their heads. How has Girls’ Generation impacted your life, in specific areas or even as a whole? Answer: There was a time where I was at the darkest point of my life, and was thinking of sucide. It is throught them that I been given a reason to fight for my life and never giving up. Just recently on Sica’s Birthday, I pushed myself to complete my route march even through I was limping badly and in pain. I pushed myself to the limits for anyone of the girls. There will always be critic in the world that look down on SNSD but let just ignore them and instead give your energy in supporting the girls whatever they do. We might disagree with some of their decision but let us respect their decision and prove to the world that Sones are the best in the world and make the girls proud of us SNSD hwaiting! Soshified Philippines Host Third SONE Gathering

Months of religious planning paid off as Soshified Philippines (SSFPH) managed to bring the SONEs out during its third gathering held in Meeting Rooms 12-13 of the SMX Convention Center last April 14th. Attendees were spotted within the vicinity of SMX hours before the event started. SONE from the north of Manila as well as from the Visayas and Mindanao regions came to the much-awaited event. All participants were welcomed with music videos, fancams, and concert tour clips of Girls’ Generation. The program kicked off with a video introduction consisting of the “Beautiful Girls” MV and the third gathering teaser. DJs Prince, Park, Elli and Eric of S9: Soshified Philippines Radio were accompanied by MC Rainne as they welcomed the crowd with an ice breaker. The hosts asked “Jiguemeun?” (right now) which was followed by a resounding response of “So Nyeo Shi Dae!” All hosts had their own MC tags similar to that of MBC’s “Music Core”. The event continued with games, dance covers, and fantastic prizes. All attendees participated in Human Bingo, a game where one fills up a sheet with signatures from persons that satisfy the description printed on the card. Participants had to find a person sharing the same OTP and bias, among others. Another game involved contestants saying the name of their favorite member and sustaining it while clips featuring their bias played on the screen.   K-Ace Klosed, U9G, Nappeun Namja, Queen Shidae, Oh!MyGee and the Cyber Swiss Girls graced the event with their performances. Coffee Melon and JKL Acoustics mellowed out the crowd with their acoustic sets. The performances were capped off by an electrifying number from the SSFPH Dance Crew. Raffle prizes were given away throughout the event. Various Girls’ Generation merchandise, t-shirts, albums, Japan support photo booklets, and gifts from the Korean Cultural Center of the Philippines were some of the items given out to the attendees. To further satisfy their thirst for Girls’ Generation stuff and other K-Pop goodies, attendees flocked to the Fangirl Asia and Wenidokane exhibits. Highlights of the gathering included showing off the birthday tribute video for Girls’ Generation’s Jessica. The video consisted of clips from different SSFPH members saying what they think identifies a GorJess spazzer. The video received love and attention as contributing fans spazzed over their share of clips. Another highlight showed 30 minutes of the Girls’ Generation Japan Concert Tour. Fans couldn’t get enough as they cheered as though they were part of the concert. With over 250 attendees filling up the venue beyond capacity, the third gathering was the most well-received event for Soshified Philippines to date, and for real, we did bring the SONE out!
