Last month, a survey titled "Which K-Pop Hallyu Star is Worth Overseas Recognition?" was conducted from the 26th of July till the 2nd of August. In the results, Girls' Generation emerged top and seized 83, 705 votes out of the 191, 674. This was 43.7% of the total votes. Fans who supported Girls' Generation said things like, "Having Girls' Generation in a survey is pointless because they'll win," "Right now, it's Girls' Generation. Always, Girls Generation," Asia's top girl group, Girls' Generation," There's no need for second thoughts, Girls' Generation is undoubtedly the best!" Coming in at 2nd place with 49, 852 votes was label mate, Super Junior. They managed to snag 26% of the votes, and they are currently gaining much popularity in the Asian countries especially after the launch of their newest 5th album, "Mr Simple" which they will be performing on KBS's Music Bank for their comeback. JYJ took the 3rd spot with 15, 408 (8%) votes, and TVXQ claimed the 4th spot with 10, 405 (5.4%) votes. KARA came in 5th and managed to take home 8632 (5.4%) votes, Big Bang in the 6th position with 6781 (3.5%) votes and they were followed by SHINee who came in 7th with 3599 (1.9%) votes. It looks like the heat wave created by Girls' Generation is still going strong!
