Sooyoung to Make Cameo Appearance on 'A Gentleman's Dignity'

Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung will be making a special appearance in “A Gentleman’s Dignity”, a drama starring Kim Minjong, who is represented by the same management company as Sooyoung. On June 9th, Sooyoung will be adding humor to the fifth episode of the SBS weekend drama “A Gentleman’s Dignity” by making a cameo appearance as herself. During the episode, “middle-aged flower boys” Jang Donggun, Kim Sooro, Kim Minjong, and Lee Jonghyuk are arguing with serious faces over which Girls’ Generation member they like more. The scene will have Sooyoung appear all of a sudden, making the four men freeze. Kim Minjong expresses embarrassment over his friends talking about Girls’ Generation and will cause laughter by acting unexpectedly after meeting Sooyoung. Last month, when the filming took place in Nonhyeon-dong, Seoul, Sooyoung wore shorts that emphasized her slim legs and a black, leather jacket. She personally greeted each actor, showing her well-mannered posture and creating a pleasant atmosphere. Sooyoung also showed off her natural, perfect acting with her company senior, Kim Minjong, whom she is normally close with. As soon as Sooyoung appeared on the set, all the staff members were busy pulling their phones out, trying to take pictures of her. Sooyoung greeted each of the staff members and gave a friendly vibe, earning her compliments such as, “She’s really an angel.” As a way of commemorating Sooyoung’s drama filming, Kim Sooro also tweeted a photo of himself with Sooyoung and the cast of the show. Sooyoung’s cameo appearance was made possible due to her friendship with Kim Minjong, who has a reputation for knowing many people. Kim Minjong is known for keeping close relationships with his junior singers. While speaking about Girls’ Generation with the drama’s writer, Kim Eunsook, Kim Minjong suggested the appearance of Sooyoung herself, to which Sooyoung agreed without any hesitation. The drama’s production company, “Hwa & Dam Pictures”, revealed, “Girls’ Generation Sooyoung’s appearance alone had the staff going wild, and she showed great energy on the set. Girls' Generation Appears in the Most Advertisements Over the Past Year

On June 6th, it was reported by Korea's largest advertisement information site, TV CF, that the celebrity with the most CF appearances over the past year (since June 5th, 2011) is Girls’ Generation with a total of 26 CFs. This includes CFs that all the group members were in as well as ones that individual members were in. Representative advertisements include LOOK, Eider, Ace Beds, and Lotte Department Store sale ads. Girls’ Generation’s Yoona was in fifth place by herself, as she also appeared 20 CFs, the same amount as Won Bin. Not only has Yoona appeared in CFs with her members, but she also appeared in Innisfree ads alone, which caused her to be ranked in the higher end of the chart. SM Entertainment Releases Music Video for Girls' Generation – TTS's 'OMG'

SM Entertainment has just released a new music video for “OMG (Oh My God)”, a track from Girls’ Generation – TTS’s “Twinkle” mini-album. While the music video does not feature the girls themselves, it does however play out a compilation of the subunit’s various concept pictures for “Twinkle” through multiple diverse transitions. Promotions for “Twinkle” concluded last Monday on June 3rd, with the group fulfilling their final performance on SBS’s “Inkigayo”. While the subunit has finally ended its promotions, some of the other Girls’ Generation members are still carrying out their solo activities. Sunny and Hyoyeon are currently fixed guests on KBS’s “Invincible Youth 2″, with the latter competing in “Dancing With The Stars II”. Sooyoung is also busy with filming for her new drama, “The 3rd Hospital”, which will air on South Korea’s television network, “tvN”. With most of the Girls’ Generation members finally beginning to wrap up their individual activities, the group has begun to focus on their upcoming Japanese single, “PAPARAZZI”, which will be released on June 27th. Girls' Generation – TTS Concludes 'Twinkle' Promotions with 'Inkigayo'

On June 3rd, Girls’ Generation – TTS concluded their “Twinkle” promotions with SBS’s weekly music show, “Inkigayo”. In courtesy of their goodbye-stage performance, Hyoyeon took to the stage with her “Dancing With The Stars II” partner, Kim Hyungsuk, to perform a dance routine to the instrumental of “OMG”, one of the tracks on the “Twinkle” mini-album. The duo delivered a strong and powerful Tango which earned a positive response from the audience. After that performance, Girls’ Generation – TTS appeared and carried out their last performance of “Twinkle”. Dressed in gold outfits, the trio successfully concluded their “Twinkle” promotions.   In response to Girls’ Generation – TTS’s goodbye-stage performance, fans all around the world trended #goodbyeTTS on Twitter after “Inkigayo” ended. In just a short span of time, #goodbyeTTS was trending in third place worldwide.       Also, shortly after “Inkigayo” ended, Hyoyeon posted a message on Girls’ Generation’s official website. Videos Mnet Releases Footage of Girls’ Generation – TTS from “M! Countdown”   Mnet recently released two behind-the-scenes videos of Girls’ Generation – TTS’s second and third wins on “M! Countdown”. In the first video, viewers are able to watch the subunit’s reactions to winning first place for the second week in a row. Despite the happy mood they were in, the three girls still made sure to give their heartfelt thanks to their fans for all of the support they have received so far and promised to continue to do their best in the future. In addition, Taeyeon promised to point the “M! Countdown” trophy at the camera, and Tiffany and Seohyun mentioned that they would add a rap and ad-libs to “Twinkle” should Girls’ Generation – TTS win for a third week in a row. The second video includes a clip from when Girls’ Generation – TTS won the Triple Crown on “M! Countdown” with each member fulfilling their promises. Girls' Generation – TTS Says Goodbye on 'Show! Music Core'

On June 2nd, Girls’ Generation – TTS delivered their goodbye-stage performance of “Twinkle” on MBC’s “Show! Music Core”. Their performance was preceded by a special dance performance from Sooyoung to the song “OMG” from the “Twinkle” mini-album. Dressed in a beautiful black dress, Sooyoung performed a sensual and exciting dance, electrifying fans in the audience and those watching worldwide. Seohyun Accidentally Hits Taeyeon During 'Twinkle' Performance

Fans were slightly bemused when Seohyun was suddenly isolated during a encore performance of “Twinkle” on the May 24th broadcast of “M! Countdown”. It turns out there were reasons for that. Midway through the main performance, Seohyun's long limbs apparently got in the way of Taeyeon, bumping into her microphone and hitting her teeth. To Taeyeon's credit though, she grinned it off and resumed her performance as usual. The result of this was that after the award presentation, when it came to Seohyun's dance part, Taeyeon made an "active effort" to avoid her during the encore performance.
